What is required for me to participate?

A seaworthy boat with current registration.
Current Insurance and liabilities for your Boat and Trailer.
A valid boat licence for your vessel.
Ensure your boat is equipped with all safety gear required for NSW Waterways. (Safety Checklist).
A working marine radio - VHF/27meg
A sense of humour and willingness to learn how to be safe on the water.

Is this a Fishing Charter?

No. On-Water Boat coaching is intended to teach boat owners who lack confidence in operating their boat. The course covers; using a boat ramp, navigating waterways safely and understanding how to safely operate your boat.

Does this give me any certification?

No, these sessions are ideal for increasing confidence and skill when using your own boat and is not considered an actual course.

Indemnity for Consideration:

I understand that I would be participating in an activity with BaldMan Fishing that can sometimes be strenuous and undertake this training at my own risk. I would acknowledge that I will forward any concerns relating to my ability for the package/activities chosen to be undertaken and at any point during the session immediately to the BaldMan. I would acknowledge that as I am using my own vessel it is insured and in a seaworthy condition with all required safety equipment on board and in working order, and take full responsibility for any damage or occurrence that may be a result from the condition or performance of my craft.
