This is day 2 of the series from Forster 2023. A morning we will never forget as we begin the day similar to the previous landing plenty of bonito but suddenly a marlin takes a liking to a live bait and we hold on for over 3 hours!
The BaldMan heads back up to Forster to try his luck on some larger pelagic fish. This two part series demonstrates the methods used including some epic sounder shots. The bonito are thick surrounding the massive schools of slimey mackerel. Unexpectedly we then hook the fish of a life time!!
The warm water off Sydney has arrived and the BaldMan tries his luck to find something that will pull some drag. Marlin is the prime target but along the way, there is always some interesting by-catch.
It's been a while since the last snapper session, but the BaldMan is back out taking advantage of a break in the weather to allow him to scourge the reefs out off Long Reef. To clear the cobwebs he heads offshore from Sydney Harbour to chase Snapper, Morwong and Flathead.
